Finally, it automatically shuts off after 2 or 4 hours. You decide which of those two times is right for you.

It also has the ability to begin brewing your pot of coffee and then pause in the middle. Finally it is programmable so that you can set it to brew up to 24 hours in advance.

We have heard mixed reviews about this model. Some love it, while others complain that the coffee does not get hot enough. If you get this model, read the directions so that you use it properly. Most break downs of this product seem to be do to error in using it properly.

Apparently if you do not put the filter and carafe in the exact right position it leaks all over the counter. Again this could be a matter of reading the directions but if you are the type that just wants to take the coffee maker out of the box and begin making coffee then this might not be the right pot of you.

Mr. Coffee 8-Cup Thermal Programmable Coffeemaker received rave reviews and is perfect when 10 - 12 cups is routinely way too many cups of coffee for your needs. It also has that wonderful feature of being able to begin coffee automatically first thing in the morning. It has a double-wall stainless-steel thermal carafe which you usually find in the higher end machines but the price point is much more reasonable. It also has the brew-pause function and automatic shut off. I love this function as I never have to worry about whether I shut off the machine before leaving the house. One less worry is always a nice thing.
